Talking AI: GIATA and DialogShift Partner to Improve Hotels’ Communication to Potential Guests
ITB was the perfect situation to share the news with potential leads and existing customers: AI company DialogShift and GIATA are now working together to make guest communication better. By connecting GIATA DRIVE to DialogShift's AI system, hotels can now power their chatbots, emails, and phone systems with up-to-date content from one single source of truth - in up to 25 languages. Hotel staff can set this up with just a few clicks and start offering quick, accurate, and personal responses to guests right away. GIATA's CEO Mathis Boldt says AI is changing how hotels take bookings, while DialogShift's Co-Founder Olga Heuser talks about moving from disconnected digital tools to one smart system.

Networking can be fun: ITB Travel Tech Happy Hour
GIATA has always been known for its legendary parties. This year, we thought - why interrupt conversations with your partners when you can continue them under the groove? Together with Nezasa, AERTiCKET, and Invia Group, we introduced a new format: “Travel Tech Happy Hour. Beyond Business.”
We transformed the Travel Tech Café into a bar with a DJ, cocktails, and an energetic crowd. The party was a real hit: connections were made, ideas were exchanged, and business took on a whole new rhythm.
We saw firsthand how networking can be more than just formal meetings—it can be immersive, engaging, and fun. With this success, we’re already looking forward to making next year’s event even bigger and better.
